The most common solution for ceramic heating pads is the indirect heating of liquids and gases. They are installed in a suitable protective tube so that they do not come into direct contact with the liquid to be heated. Their main advantage is that if the ceramic heating element fails, it can be replaced without disassembling the protective tube and draining the liquid. They are also suitable for heating oil, bitumen and other liquids, which can burn onto the heating pipe in the case of direct heating.
Application area:
Sizes: from fi30 mm .....to fi64 mm standard sizes, other sizes on request.
Performance:depends on other factors such as amount of liquid heated, required temperature, ambient temperature, warm-up time
Voltage: on request
Construction: Ceramic segment heaters are equipped with an open heating coil mounted on the grooves of the holes. A resistant wire (Ni-Cr alloy) is used to make the heating coil, the material of the segment is refractory technical ceramics
Additional options: Segmented ceramic heating inserts can also be supplied with suitable pipe protection, one end of which is closed.
Protective tube: The tube is most often stainless steel AiSi304, AiSi316Ti, but other materials are available. The choice of pipe material depends on the heating of the liquid.
Flanges: A flange can be welded to the end of the protective tube with the tube (G1 1/2 ", G1 1/4", G2 ", G2 1/4", G2 1/2 ") or a metric thread or a straight (" blind ") flange. The flanges can be made of steel, brass or stainless steel AiSi304.
Protective caps: The electrical contacts of the heater are protected by caps, boxes, or housings with power connectors and power supplies. The size and material of the protective cap are subject to agreement. Protective caps offer protection class IP54 (protection against splashing water and dust) They can be installed in the tanks in a horizontal position or in a vertical position
