Metal-jacketed tube heating inserts have high temperature resistance, due to their high degree of compaction, and thus high thermal conductivity and good electrical insulation value can be achieved. The performance of a pipe heating insert depends on a specific pipe length and the specific installation location. NiCr-alloy resistance wire is used for the tube heating inserts and MgO for thermal insulation, which is also an excellent thermal conductor. The end of the pipe heating mantle is insulated and sealed with a ceramic bead and a special sealing compound.

Tubular heating inserts can be manufactured in straight or curved form. There are bendable tube heating inserts that are heat-treated during production, so they can be bent into any shape before commissioning, so they can be applied to individual molds and grooves!
